About the Team...

Team owner and rider is Zodiac's General Manager Ton Pels. In 2005 Ton celebrated his 35th Drag Racing Anniversary, which is probably the longest Drag Racing career in Europe. He is therefore considered to be one of the most experienced European Drag Racers and he has got his nickname, given to him by his colleague racers: "The Godfather", to show for it. |
| In the early years, Ton did all the work himself, but
for the last 18 years it was a joined effort of both Ton
and his son Vincent, who is now the team's
Crew Chief. Together (T&V Racing) they have built 6
editions of "Godfather" Harley Davidson Drag
Bikes. It's really a family affair in this team, because Ton's daughter Monique is also a Crew Member and his wife Marianne organizes the trips to the foreign race tracks and takes care of travel arrangements and other logistics. The Zodiac Drag Race Team is based in Mijdrecht - The Netherlands and their main sponsor is Zodiac International B.V., a wholesale company for aftermarket and performance parts for Harley Davidson. |
